SORCO opened its new flight and breeding cages Sunday. On hand to do the ribbon cutting was MLA John Slater, who will be making a two minute speech in Victoria this coming Thursday on burrowing owls. “Beaker” is on hand to give him some sage advice on the need to preserve this endangered species.
