Baldy re-opens Friday
Oliver students Foster Kane and Max McGibbon were early and in line to be first on the Sugarlump Chair on Saturday and First on the Eagle Chair Sunday. Baldy re-opens Friday for the Christmas Holidays.
Support the Food Bank this season
Bob Golosky hands over cheque in the amount of $500 to Jim Ouellette of the Oliver Food Bank. Golosky operates Newstart Landscaping and said he likes to support those in need in his community.
Spirit of Christmas is giving
Michelle Dranchuk from CUPE Local 4595 Social Services passes on cheque to support the Women’s Shelter project to Desert Sun’s Roxie Van Aller as part of Christmas support from employees of the SOAICL group (Beaver Lodge).
Sing along at the local Library
