Winner for sure!
Judy Slingsby’s quilt, an elegant combination of applique and quilting, won Best of Show at the Oliver Quilt Show. Her quilt also tied for honorable mention in the View’s choice catagory. Judy hails from Osoyoos – her piece was the first to see as you entered the hall. It was stunning.
Parks Society AGM
Tonight 630 pm Oliver Community Centre Room #1 Annual General Meeting of the Oliver Parks and Recreation Society Audited Financial Report on 2010 Fiscal Year & Report of Management on activities, accomplishments and challenges. This meeting will be followed by a regular monthly board meeting.
