Time: 4 am Saturday Location: Hwy 97 just north of Vaseux Creek Bridge adjacent to the Deer Park Estates East side, vehicle driving north Went into ditch – unknown reasons. Driver treated by EMS Ambulance crew. Three fire units dispatched but quickly returned to base. RCMP on the scene.

Time: Shortly after 8am On scene, 1 ambulance, 2 police units and  3 fire engines. Police called as the house was empty with signs of mischief reported by neighbours. Fire in the basement part of the home. Unknown cause. No known injuries.
