Traffic in the Fairview area – (Gala to Main Streets) will be affected to the maximum today and a part of tomorrow for ashphalt milling. All old pavement is being removed. Cross streets in that area (Okanagan and Kootenay) are closed off. Take alternative routes and use the alley to find your way about.

Update – OK Falls – weekend fire
Fire Damage more serious than first reported. One source indicates thieves broke into the roof to gain entry. How the fire started is not known. Security staff on sight this morning. Picture below is of a previous fire scene – immediately to the east of this new service station.
