There are two stream beds, two new culverts with water moving east to west (downhill) heading for the river and ultimately Vaseux Lake. Both replaced recently because of highway construction south of Braun Rd at the first corner when approaching from the north.

What for?
This is one of about five culverts designed to go across the entire passing lanes being installed north of Oliver. Is this for water flow? or something else? I had one report on the need for such passage way – what’s your insight?
