Mayor attends aboriginal day event
Charlotte Stringham, Councillor with the OIB was MC for the unveiling of the new Village Exhibit at NK’Mip Desert Interpretive Center in Osoyoos. Modesta Betterton gave a blessing and following that was the smoke ceremony accompanied by drummers and dancing. Following the ceremony we were served juice and cake and walked around the exhibits.
