“Oliver RCMP and BC Conservation Officers are investigating the discharge of a firearm this past weekend on Morningstar Rd where a deer had been shot.

A male was taken into custody and was cooperative with Police.

Firearms were seized from a residence and the matter is continuing to be investigated.”

78 year old resident arrested by RCMP

The shootings happened at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Loud bangs witnessed by several neighbours.  1 dead deer.  I wounded deer which had to be euthanized by Wildlife BC personnel.
