This scooter (above)  was George’s back up to his newer ‘V6’ complete with face shield and a rain cover

The back up had been owned and used by Bill Leverett – former postmaster

Monday George was out and about picking up ” supplies ” but did not see the red light or the SUV approaching

Both long-timers and old-timers know ‘Young George’

We wish him well in recovery – when he gets back on his feet – maybe a taxi is the answer.
