The Southern Okanagan Secondary School (SOSS) Enrichment Fund Society provides financial assistance to graduating students from SOSS who are pursuing post-secondary education. We are pleased to present 33 awards, totaling $29,350.00 to the 2021 graduates.
With covid restrictions we are unable to host our popular fund-raising two day golf scramble but we are encouraging the community, alumni and supporters to play a game for our grads in a virtual golf tournament. Choose a day from July 1-14, at any course close to you. Enter our tournament and have a chance to be on a winning team or be entered into random draw prizes. Our community can be proud of getting behind excellent projects. Our Society has been in existence for 26 years and has impacted the education of many deserving students. Roger McKay vice-principal at SOSS 1966-1996 had a vision. Roger tells his story below how the idea started and how it met enthusiastic support and unwavering commitment from individuals and groups.
