From quarterly report reflecting info – January through to the end of March

 

Total reported crime events in the municipality for the quarter was 1,770 which is up 3% from last
year (1,714). This change is driven largely by the increase in Violent Crime, which went from
213 to 252 – an increase of 18% from the same reporting period last year.
