Time 5:45pm Oliver Town – Water Tower west side of the valley
Earlier fire near Black Sage Rd

We are on scene with crews for a fire on Oliver Mountain.
BCWFS is on scene as well.
As of 7:30pm Friday – All crews have left the scene of this fire. It has been extinguished and no smoke of fire is visible.
The cause of this fire is human caused, there was no criminal intent and all parties involved have been in contact with Fire Officials and RCMP.

Fire crews also responded to a second fire on Blacksage road at the same time as the first fire. It was quickly extinguished and all crews are clear of this scene as well. This fire was human caused and has been questioned by RCMP.
These two fires are unrelated to each other
