At about 20 minutes to 1 am today – units of the Oliver Fire Department dispatched to Secrest Hill Rd.

A small camper unit on pipe stilts had been abandoned on the bowl side of the road – just west of Loose Bay.

It burst into flames. Cause not known

It took fire fighters about 1 half hour to put out the fire and clear the scene.
