WILLIAM (BILL) ROSS
JULY 14, 1943 – MAY 10, 2020
On Mother’s Day, Bill spent lunch-time with his wife and then decided to go for ride on his moped scooter. He headed north on the back road to the Highway. He was in the entry lane, I believe when he collided with a car. He was taken to the hospital. He did not make it.
To Francie and his children, my condolences – Bill and I had a special relationship for many years because we were both elected officials at about the same time.
Bill’s work in Oliver was varied and productive.
I could talk to his work at SOLID for the farming community, I could talk to his years on council and his recent work as a land agent.
I and a lot of people will miss Bill – another community leader gone in the last year or so.
This is the opportunity to have people say some really nice things about BILL.
