That Council rescind the following motion that was made at the Regular Open Meeting of April 6 2020:
Moved by Councillor Rhodes Seconded by Councillor Bennett That Council supports Option #3 for a September 18, 2020 due date for Property Taxes and for unpaid balances a 5% penalty after the due date and a 5% penalty on December 31, 2020.
It was noted that the 2020 Tax Rates Bylaw that will be returned to Council for consideration on May 4 and will include a tax due date of September 30 with a 5% penalty applied to amounts unpaid at 4:30 p.m. on that day and a further 5% penalty applied to unpaid amounts at 4:30 p.m. on December 31, 2020.
