Both the Osoyoos Times and the Oliver Chronicle have suspended printing a newspaper until further notice.

Both local newspapers are owned by Aberdeen Publishing.

The editors of both have indicated they will continue to gather and publish news on their internet platforms.

ODN regrets this – as both operations provide competition in a healthy news business. It is always nice to pick up the local newspaper to see what is new in our community.

We honestly hope we can get back to the “new” normal soon.
