Day and time:  Friday afternoon at one o’clock

Location: On the Fairview to Cawston Rd near entrance to Madden Lake. (most likely out of fire department territory).

Deputy Chief Bryon Somerville on the scene and called the incident in.

RCMP, local fire, EMS and Forestry dispatched and on scene.

Not sure of who was driving the vehicle but apparently no injuries and…….. the fire on the hillside relatively small and not in a coniferous stand.
