Half million $$ Rd 9 project – Monday – major cross road culvert to be installed

 

South side of Rd 9 shown east of Paintbrush
Land acquired (bottom) large underground culvert to be installed on both sides of the roadway to empty into River. Would contain water from *Tinhorn Creek and Reed Creek – both of which will form a confluence on the north side of Rd 9. A temporary road has been installed for improvements to drainage in that area.

 

Road will be closed most of this week except for school buses, emergency vehicle and local residents only. Use town routes or Rd to get around the blockage.
