Highway 97 Both Directions – Closure – Highway 97, in both directions. Rock slide between Callan Rd and N Beach Rd for 1.6 km (Summerland to 2 km north of Summerland). Assessment in progress. Road closed. Detour in effect. Rock scalers will continue observation overnight. Work to recommence in the morning. Detour via Hwy 97C, Hwy 5A and Hwy 3A to Hwy 3. Next update time Sun Feb 3 at 8:00 AM PST. Last updated Sat Feb 2 at 7:38 PM PST.
