A big thank you to the ladies at the Oliver Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store for supporting Mrs. Basso’s Grade 6 class at Oliver Elementary School with socks, mitts, scarves and toques. The collection runs until the end of October and will then be taken to disadvantaged people in  downtown Eastside Vancouver by the Penticton Vees Hockey team as part of a Drug Awareness program called “Stay On Side”.
