Labelled Baldy FSR, 2.1 hectares August 12
and now Tuesday morning shows as 8.5HA
About 3:30 – one forestry truck parked at the logging road just on the Oliver side of the Gregoire Creek S curve, at McKinney Road. Two more crew trucks and a water tender heading up. A low bed with a cat parked a little lower down.
Very smoky in the area.
It is also stinkier at Baldy than in the valley – maybe something other than wood burning at the new fire?
