Meaning

The quest for meaning is a philosophical search. A search within ourselves. Meaning is purpose, an answer to why we exist and why ‘stuff’ happens and does not stop happening. We could say that the meaning of life is the interpretation or explanation of life. Deep huh. I like to think that the meaning of life is the learning of lessons that can bring us to more happiness. When we understand that deep meaning, life seems better

An ancient Sage apparently said that all that happens to us can only have one of two meanings. One is that what happens shows us what it means to experience happiness, we flourish. A meaning look is the kind Mom used to give when I was slurping my soup while we had company for dinner. It meant that I ought not do that. I have been meaning to live a more meaningful life but am not sure what that means. I mean, like, what is the meaning of these thoughts?!! Are they mean thoughts? Some tell us that mean experiences can show us some of the meaning of life. Sheesh, that idea seems mean. Or maybe it is the ability to discern meaning comes from experiencing the meaning of what it is to be mean. I don’t know what I mean?????
