“Saturday night into Sunday morning a bike was stolen from our yard. Not just a pedal but my brothers only means of transportation his Suzuki 600s crotch rocket bike.
So Sunday morning when he went to go out his bike is gone. Of course we call it in. And yes I understand because the bike is currently registered in his friends name but my brother the sole driver it leads to a tricky situation. However the cops accused us – that it is suspicious and takes all the information then hangs up.
So we call back and in the mean time the owner of bike has also reported it stolen and let the officer know that my brother was the principle operator. Cops hangs up on us again after asking if it was parked in a garage or on driveway.
Not that it makes any different lately with the thieves going in and out of whatever they feel like.
However the odd part is not one time did this officer identify himself.
There have been other times we have called in activity and never do they show up.
Sunday night we sat outside until well after 1am we watched multiple interesting people and vehicles pass by . Even one lady walking through neighbors yard then be picked up by another vehicle seen 5 times passing by.
So in my opinion is this what we need to do? Stay out all hours of the night to protect our things???
When we call the police we just get hung up on.
