Emergency Operations Centre
Overnight conditions have caused incidents of rock fall, flooding, and minor landslides in several areas of the region. The Regional District is in level 1 EOC for preventative measures with staff engaged. At this time, 2 Naramata residents left their homes due to flooding and have been provided with Emergency Social Services Support.
The RDOS is on the ground assessing damages as are other agency professionals.
At this time, the RDOS is providing residents support providing sand and sand bags at locations where damage or flooding has occurred:

Electoral Area ‘C’ – (Rural Oliver)

Willowbrook: Sand and sand bags have been delivered to the Willowbrook Fire Hall, 3395 Willowbrook Rd.
Oliver: Sand and sand bags available at Oliver Fire Hall, 369 Similkameen Ave
Electoral Area ‘D’ – (East and west side Skaha Lake, Kaleden, Twin Lakes, Okanagan Falls)
Okanagan Falls: Sand and sand bags available at the parking lot at Keogan Park across from 1512 Cedar

Naramata: Sand and sand bags available at Naramata Fire Hall, 1095 Lower Debeck Rd.
Note: The KVR Trail is closed south of Arawana Rd. above Naramata. There has been washout in the vicinity of Workman Place. Please avoid using this trail until further notice, as the extent of damage or risk of further collapse is being assessed at this time.
