I’m not sure what MLA Linda Larson is referring to by saying MOTI is in the process of cleaning out culverts in the Willowbrook subdivision. I’ve just visited each of the four culverts plus visited the Goldtau Rd culvert today, and there is no work being carried out. We as a community, have been trying to have many levels of government address the situation here for the past 10 months. We have correspondence recorded to MOTI, Argo Road Maintenance, RDOS, and Ministry of Forests, Land, Natural Resource Operations & Rural Development. And here we have a large rain fall that can happen in many areas, but when infrastructure is not maintained, the result can be catastrophic to the residents of Willowbrook. A couple of homes lost their septic systems last year due to the high water. All due to the fact the culverts and creeks beds have never been maintained. We Don’t want a repeat of last years events
