Lots of pictures around this hotel site but few explanations:
What is causing the delay? Grizzly Contracting has several contracts for street, water, sewer and grounds preparation for the hotel and for the Town of Oliver.
Fairview Rd near the Library and Bridge is disturbed by the installation of a sewer main connecting the sewer plan on Sawmill Rd to new infrastructure on Station Street.
Four sewer manholes being installed (are those person holes?) to increase capacity for the hotel and many more businesses contemplated in that area.
The work has been complicated by high water table due to increased flows in the river channel.
Construction work on the hotel continues with some framing happening at the entrance to the pool. The cubes (or rectangular) modular components now stored in
Okanagan Falls are set to be moved next to the site.
“Yes Virginia” the Hotel is actually in the Falls.
