People in Motion – BC Adaptive Snowsports
An amazing guy that you should meet. Bryce Beckett is a certified adaptive ski instructor, working at Mt Baldy who donated his day and countless hours of preparation, to help make a 12 year old OK Falls girl’s dream come true.
“A twelve year old girl was lifted from her wheelchair, and placed in a sit-ski guided by Bryce. We had many runs on Magic Carpet and Sugar Lump. Her smiles and pure enjoyment made the day special for us all.” – Sandra Smith
Megan now can confidently says to her friends, “Meet me on the slopes.”
Beckett is a visionary and his motto as he told me is “Who will break your paradigm of limitations?” As a teacher we teach students and that changes our perspective but if you are lucky, you meet people like Bryce and our student Megan who change who you are. These are two incredible people you need to meet in the South Okanagan.
Megan is a wonderful student who is a quadriplegic with Cerebral Palsy who lets nothing get her down or stand in her way.
