Crown counsel, John Swanson seeking to fix a date for a 1 day long preliminary inquiry. Judge Greg Koturbash told defence counsel, Michael Patterson, that Kelowna is out as to a change of venue. It had been stated that there were concerns about having the victims and the person charged in the same room together. Koturbash says this will not be the last time a similar situation comes up and “we must learn to deal with it”.
No date determined for next appearance. Court records indicate a review by the court manager on March 12th.
