The 14th Wine Capital of Canada 55+ Hockey Tournament kicks off today at the Oliver Arena and will run until Saturday afternoon.
There are 76 players from around BC, Alberta, Washington State and as far away as New Mexico.
Players range in age 52 to 88.
We have at least one player who has been here for all previous tournaments, 21 first timers to this tournament, and our first female player to participate in this tournament. Players will play 3 games, 1 each day.
There are winery, brewery, and distillery tours. A meet and greet social and a banquet.
