Apparently a truck drove thru a window at private liquor store at Southwind Mall.

On March 3rd, 2018 Oliver RCMP responded to a report of a break in at the Desert Country Liquor store located on Main Street in Oliver. Upon arriving on scene police discovered that the suspect vehicle had driven through the front window of the liquor store causing thousands of dollars in damage. Once inside the suspect stole a number of items before fleeing the scene.
The vehicle that was used in the crime was a 2013 Kia Sorrento which had been stolen from Oliver during the early morning hours of March 3rd. Osoyoos RCMP recovered the stolen vehicle on March 4th.
