6000 block Main Street
Police requested assistance of Oliver Fire Department – debris burning inside an empty office building. Four RCMP vehicles including a specialized unit circled the building. May have been the result of a B and E and then an occupation. No visible sign of smoke or burning.
ODN informed by reliable source – middle aged man known well by Oliver police in custody and most likely in court Monday or Tuesday. Folks this is petty crime but it takes up a lot of time and manpower to protect the peace.
