Eye witness Roger Richardson:  “An ambulance drove away from the Gallagher Lake accident heading north but turned the lights off. A bit south another police car was parked and directing traffic. Two tow trucks were proceeding to the scene.

South of this accident towards the bridge there was a pickup with top in the ditch on the south side of the road. I don’t know if it had any connection since it was a kilometre away. The vehicle was facing west on the left side, so may have slid across. Driver was standing by the road looking dismayed.”
