Baldy Mountain Resort will open as planned this Friday.
Baldy Mountain Resort is happy to confirm that they are opening this Friday, the 8th December. The Sugarlump chair and the magic carpet will be operating. General Manager, Andy Foster said “After the early November snowfall we had some mid-November rain and have had little snow afterwards. Meaning we are not in a position to open the Eagle chair just yet. The Eagle chair accesses very rocky high alpine terrain and many of the big rocks don’t have enough coverage to make the terrain safe to navigate”.
With 2 of 3 lifts running there will be reduced lift ticket pricing in effect for opening weekend, December 8, 9 and 10. With regular lift ticket prices already some of the best value in Canada, opening weekend will be a great time to test your early season legs. Adult tickets are only $38, seniors 65 and over are only $19, youth aged 7-15 are only $24 and kids 6 and under are FREE (but must still collect a ticket).
