We try to represent the community as we all see it.
A hockey game, a criminal trial decision in Penticton, a death of some one we know, a fire, a benefit, a student profile, a concert, and, and, and….. it is endless and keeps changing.
ODN is not about the arts even though we try to do our best to cover the flavor, the photography, the graphic art, the music, the young ones on the way up…
ODN is NOT June Hook – ( I knew and loved her….. and the family )
Oliver Daily News cannot be the leader in news and information without the active partnership of so many contributors, tipsters, those that comment, friends and yes those that think Oliver cannot be left with only one source of information.
At this time of the year let us reflect on what is in place: thank God for Ali Lantz (SOSS), Roy Wood – town council guy, the many photographers and those that send great weekly stories like Pat Whalley, Brenda Shaw, Joseph Seiler, Henry Wiebe, Kandice Davidson and old Fred Steele (still sittin’ on his tractor). And many more contributors.
We try to do our best with what we have.
