Been reading articles in the local PRO park newspapers ( a chain ) and social media where the NO park movement is just beginning to get going.

What the “brass” says is that there is TOO much mis-information. Well guess what? The lack of information on just what the intentions of Parks Canada is the fault of the proponents – all who state – “it’s just fine – don’t worry about it” – “just wait until you get this great gift from Ottawa and then and only then will you see what you have gained” – or LOST*!

Oliver Daily News has tried to take the journalistic approach to printing information and opinion Pro and Con – and allowing both sides to discuss and argue their case. ODN also tries to clarify “facts” presented. We also like to present challenging questions.

If you had been at the non-announcement recently in Osoyoos you would have noticed that the majority invited – were YES park people all clapping each other on the back.

“We won” – smiles all around.

A lot of work to do in two years to achieve any goal. I will take a wait and see attitude as the cavalier attitude belies the amount of resistance to be seen.
