The SOSS senior photography class, taught by Lindsey McVicar and OES kindergartens students – above

Lindsey McVicar organized three photography activities with the senior kids and the kindergarten students, to allow the young kids to capture their own photos for the very first time.  Both classes have hiked up to the water tower, walked around the playground at OES as well as the kindergarten class being introduced to the High School to take a variety of photos. The senior students helped each young student take their photos, as well as the seniors took photos of them.

McVicar has planned to put on a final photography show in downtown Oliver, displaying all photos.  Lindsey and her students wished to create a unique and fun learning experience for the young ones of OES, and the kids certainly enjoyed this new and exciting experience.  (SOSS reporter Ali Lantz)
