James (Jim) Hunter

November 26, 1937 – October 21, 2017

 

 

Jim passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 79 years in Oliver, BC.

He was born in Vancouver and raised in Okanagan Centre.

Jim is survived by his wife Margaret of 58 years; children Karen (Matt), Ken (Maria) and Ron (Caren); ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Judy Tipple of Saturna Island and Diane (Alastair) McLeod of Vancouver.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at McKinney Place who took excellent care of Jim.

He will be entered into rest at a graveside urn interment at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery at 11:30 am Saturday, November 4, 2017.
