Car fire started around two o’clock near the mailboxes in Kilpoola.People at the scene said the fire started spontaneously then grass caught fire.
Several vehicles and personnel were on the scene containing the fire to a field next to the mailboxes. No damage to mail or the boxes.
The owner of the car was still on the scene and appeared to be unharmed.
