The RDOS is pleased to promote and be a part of this upcoming workshop opportunity. The New BC Water Sustainability Act requires well owners (with a well serving more than one residence or for agricultural/commercial purposes) to register their wells.

Tyrion Miskell of BC Grapegrowers responded to calls from grape growers requesting assistance in filling out the well licensing application and organized this workshop.

The Province is supporting this event supplying Ministry of Agriculture staff to assist in the application process, to be there to answer questions and offer personal hands on computer input assistance. The small cost is to offset the rental of the room and computers.

The RDOS has also fielded calls from a variety of agricultural producers with the same request.

This is a good opportunity to be able to offer hands-on assistance at nearly no-cost to well owner/producers (across all sectors) throughout our region.
