One person is in custody following a “domestic situation” involving a firearm Thursday morning in Penticton.

ODN alerted shortly after 2 1m that ambulance on standby near a “staging area”

Castanet says a tipster on Durant Crescent said she was awoken around 4 a.m. by a loud bang and police on a loudspeaker commanding a man to pick up his phone and call 911.

Penticton RCMP  confirm that an Emergency Response Team was called to an address on Carmi Ave. to diffuse a domestic incident involving a discharged firearm. No one was injured and one man was arrested.
