Four new candidates for Oliver Ambassador were introduced last night at the Oliver Senior Center. The candidates gave their sponsor speeches, and held their annual cake auction. 8 cakes were auctioned, made by our current ambassador team (Manvir, Jasleen, Jeevan, and Simi), as well as the the four new candidates. Many family members, program and candidate sponsors were in attendance along with local dignitaries. Program support from the Oliver Kiwanis Club, Oliver Rotary, Lions and Lioness Clubs, and the Royal Canadian Legion is vital to the survival of the program, and is much appreciated.
