Ken Clarke, President of the Board of Directors, would like to announce that Donna Gordan has been hired as the new Executive Director for the Desert Valley Hospice Society effective June 7th.

Donna’s background includes working as a Fundraising Coordinator for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, extensive sales and marketing experience for magazines and newspapers, and nine years management experience with a public relations firm.
In her spare time Donna likes to keep busy making handcrafted cowgirl jewellery, script and book writing, and yoga.  Caring for a family member and a co-worker has brought her a personal connection to hospice and palliative end of life care.

“I am excited to experience the energy and vision of the Desert Valley Hospice Society, the communities of Osoyoos and Oliver, and to lend my skills to an organization that gives so much back to people, their families and friends, and the communities that they call “home,” said Gordan. “I look forward to bringing my unique background to serve.
