Police in action at front of Town Hall in Oliver

At least 5 police vehicles involved. This has not been confirmed

“A vehicle was reported to be driving erratically heading south towards Oliver. A member observed the vehicle on Main Street stopped behind some traffic, the member approached it on foot and tried to get the drivers attention. The driver saw the member and decided to flee but struck another vehicle in the process causing some minor damage with  – no injuries as it was slow speed contact.

The vehicle then left Oliver RCMP jurisdiction and headed towards Osoyoos. The vehicle was eventually located at a residence near Midway where the registered owner resided.”
