Ava and Peter Harbottle place a lite candle on the head stone for sacrifices that will not be forgotten.
The wise to the young, military to civilian the sacrifices made will not be forgotten.
This ceremony commemorates the lives of veterans who returned from the wars and UN operations and those still serving. We pair a youth with a veteran (or other adult) and they place a lit candle on each headstone in the Veterans Field of Honour– passing Remembrance from the older generation to the younger, so the sacrifices made will not be forgotten.
The Royal Canadian Air Cadets 232, Big Horn surround Peter Harbottle before the laying down of candles.
