The Desert Sage Spinners and Weavers celebrate their 40th anniversary, in the year of the Rooster with a full house for their Tea at the community centre – with a few special guests.

Mrs. McVicar, the very innovative art teacher from Souther Okanagan Secondary, has invited artists and groups to be a ‘Resident Artist’ to her students.

The Spinners and Weavers stepped up to the plate and spent a week in the classroom. In return the students were invited to tea.
