“A 27 year old resident of Birch Avenue called Police because she had been attacked inside of her home by her own Rottweiler dog.
The lady was trapped inside of a bedroom and police officers used a ladder to get her safely out of the bedroom window. She was transported to hospital with injuries to her arm. Animal control was contacted to restrain the dog.”

Update: PENTICTON – A sad ending for a Penticton dog and it’s owner after an incident last week. Police were called to rescue the dog’s owner on Feb. 14 after the 27-year-old woman wound up trapped in a room of the house.
The city says the dog’s owner surrendered the animal the next day and it was euthanized.
