Report of a fire in a residence (outbuilding)
Blaze was small and basically out when firefighters arrived
One ambulance from Oliver and one from Osoyoos called for
Crews left the scene at 4:16 am

“Call at 3:30 am to farm near Hwy 97 at Rd 18
The fire in the bedroom had been extinguished by the time firefighters arrived. Firefighters checked for not spots and cleared any smoke.
Damage was mainly contained to the bed. Some smoke damage.
2 ambulances were called in.Treated and transported to hospital 2 patients with some 2nd/3rd degree burns feet/legs.
Cause is under investigation but is believed to be cause by a cigarette. This is unconfirmed at this point. “
