The Oliver RCMP surrounded a house in the Oliver area Wednesday evening, in order to effect an arrest of a male wanted on a Canada wide warrant.
On December 14, at 17:30 the Oliver RCMP confirmed the location of a wanted individual in a residence in the Primrose Lane and Road 3 area. Additional resources included assistance from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team.
23 year old Dillon Côté, who was the subject of a Canada wide parole revocation warrant was arrested.
Côté and a female refused to exit the home until 04:00 am, when police utilized a distraction method and gas shell to force them out of the home. The pair was uninjured as a result.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Dillan John Cote by Prince George RCMP. Cote is considered violent and should not be approached. As a parolee he failed to return to his designated residence. Cote has yet to appear in provincial court in Penticton. The foregoing confirmed by Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
