This morning ODN contacted RCMP with no result. We did a drive-by in the area today with one cruiser spotted – apparently protecting the crime scene.

Without confirmation anything we say is conjecture but there have been many reports of stolen property, B and E’s etc. on the west side – orchards.

Six patrol cars involved last night according to one source.

One report talked about shots fired.

Update: Oliver RCMP state that a news release from a regional PR person is expected.
