Hockey excitement at Oliver Arena

peewee-tourny2A total of 12 teams are taking part in the annual Peewee Hockey Tournament this weekend. The event is being hosted by the South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association at Oliver Arena and Sun Bowl Arena in Osoyoos.

The host team was on the ice today through the noon hour against the Chilliwack Red Wings.

The South Okanagan Honey Badgers scored a beautiful goal off this goal mouth scramble.

South Okanagan is back on the ice tonight at 6:30 p.m. against the North Delta Bulldogs.

Action continues Sunday, with games in both Oliver and Osoyoos starting at 8 a.m.

The championship game is set for 3 p.m. at Oliver Arena.
